I'm using Pip-boy watch on S2 3G and I do see ~1 sec lag to update the time.įacer and Weather It has been cloudy and raining for the last 3 hours yet my watch face made thru facer still says CLEAR. It's very annoying because Timemaker watch faces, some of them, are actually pretty good, but that micro lag gives away that we're using a third party app! Stock and Samsung apps now works without delay. Lag is gone after XXU2BOL4 update, but still on Mrtimemaker. The stock faces don't do this, so there has to be a fix, right? It's really frustrating because I found a face that I love and paid actual $ for it, but it's always wrong for a second when I display it. For whatever reason, devs are designing these such that they behave like widgets that sleep or whatever, and don't decide to update until they are viewed again. I had this same problem with lock-screen clock widgets for the Galaxy S5. The effect doesn't occur with stock faces but it does with any custom face. I often check the time and look away before it updates. Yes, and mine is much more than you are describing. If that is the difference it may be a browser (well, HTML renderer) and/or cache issue. as most (all?) the watch faces in the app store are HTML5 apps. It becomes more noticeable with Mrtimemaker app though. Third party watchfaces lag? Did anyone notice micro lag when using third party watchfaces? It remembers last position and after ~1/10 sec delay switches to actual time. I bought the app and love it, I have a suggestion, it would be a larger weather widget?, thanks and sorry for my English.Īnd there's some problem with the hours too, now showing inly 1 : 5 insted of 13:45. the face where the hours are big and the minutes are small. instead 07:56 shows only 07: 6, the tenths of minutes are not visible.

I've been trying to have an analog/digital watchface with the "custom watch for smartwatch" app. Will add that variant to today's or tomorrow's update! Thanks for the feedback
